Blanchardstown Methodist Church began in November 2008 as an offshoot of Abbey Street Methodist Church (Dublin Central Mission) in Dublin city centre. Since its formation, it has grown into a thriving, community-focussed church, now located in the heart of Tyrrelstown. It serves an area with nearly 100,000 people living in Dublin 15 area and East Meath. This area grew significantly during the Celtic Tiger and is now home to a young and diverse community.

Our congregation is therefore reflective of our community and runs a number of activities such as Sunday School, Discussion Group, Women’s Group and Men’s Group. It is ably served by a Minister, Stewards and Church Council. We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 10.30 am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which are provided in ‘News’ or on our Facebook page
